It has been a day devoted to pottering about. Nothing strenuous after the interrupted night we had, courtesy of Jasper. At 02:00 this morning he waltzed into our bedroom and vomited all over the floor. So it was that in the early hours, we were scraping up his mess and spraying the carpet. We tried to settle. He didn't. He went into full choral mode and wouldn't shut up until Diane went and opened his breakfast bowl. Jasper is very unpopular at present.
During the morning I managed to retrieve the storage boxes from the garage. I then started to remove some of the decorations. Many will have to wait for tomorrow, but we've made a start.
We chatted with Jane and Trevor. We were considering our next cruise. We narrowed it down to the Canaries and three particular sailings. Trevor then chatted with our Agent and with her help we managed to get the sort of suite we prefer and isolated one sailing. After a few calls, a deposit was paid and we are all set for September 2025.
Ellie is staying with us tonight. She is reading with Nana as I write this and will soon be left to sleep.
