For Ellie, it was "back to school". She seemed a bit withdrawn when I went around to walk her to school, but I'm sure she would have picked up as soon as class began.
Much of the morning was spent looking through the cruise shortlist we had created last year. I was able to update it with the latest prices and offers and took the opportunity to review some of the YouTube reviews. There is a big disparity in the prices for the cruises on the list. We sat and chatted about the options and concluded that some of the prices were silly and that we could do two cruises for the price of the more extreme sailings.
As you would expect I spent some time on the accounts and have now extended the 2024 spreadsheet to include all the months of the year. (I usually start the spreadsheet with just January and February until I am sure everything is working the way I want).
The afternoon was spent with my Kindle as I homed in on the last chapter or so of my latest book.
