After various domestic chores, and a bit of play with Ellie, and a walk to the post office with a parcel containing Betty and Barney Rubble's face masks, the Gorse Fox decided to expand his Plex library a bit further. He has now copied his music library to Plex... and as he writes, the Plex server is staring to organise the information.
Apparently this can link with Alexa and with the Sonos, but the Gorse Fox will limit this exercise to one thing at a time. At the moment he knows it will me easily accessible from the various Plex clients we have round the house (TVs, tablets, and phones).

Serenade
BBQ over, dishwasher on... we sit in the garden listening to the live music drifting across from a neighbour's garden. Not sure who the artist is but seems to be immensely talented and provides a huge repertoire from Dire Straits to the Shadows and just about everyone in between.

Run silent, run deep
Gorse Fox had a great run back to Sussex last night. Leaving Worcester later than planned he found the roads to be very quiet and so was able to keep a steady pace of rapid transit across the country.
The journey overlapped the dead hour on radio. This is the time from 7pm when they only play folk or country & western music. This is just wrong. Both are considered as abominations - and the Gorse Fox believes they are condemned in the Book of Mormon and several of the more enlightened apocrypha (like the Southsea Scrolls, which were found buried in the silt near Portsmouth); some native American tribes even believe they pressage the end of world as we know it and the return of their ancestors to walk the earth.
Gorse Fox used this time to catch up on various (old) podcasts - The New Scientist, Sceptoid.com, the Naked Scientist, etc. It certainly made the journey pass quickly and GF found himself parking up at home in no time.

Well, it seems that over 20 million fans have entered the ballot for the tickets to see Led Zeppelin in November.
Make that 20,000,001 as GF has just managed to get his name into the ballot. If successful it will be the first time he has seen them since missing the Silver Vixen's 18th birthday party to see Led Zeppelin at Wembley (well, you have to have a sense of priority... and we were only friends at that time).

Golden Age
That nice man from Amazon had a good deal at the weekend with 3 CDs for £10. The selection had to be from a list... but the Gorse Fox managed to replace some old vinyl and now has shiny new versions of:
- Free - Heartbreaker
- Joe Cocker - Mad Dogs and Englishmen
- Gary Moore - The Blues Collection
- Steppenwolf - The Collection (not a copy of GF's original album... but contains some classics as well as some real dross).
