There was some heavy rain overnight and it woke Ellie briefly. She went back off to sleep as soon as Grandpa explained that he couldn't stop the rain but expected it would die down soon. I was up first and had a quiet 30 minutes before Di and Ellie came down.
I dropped Ellie at school and took a circuitous route home, expecting that I wouldn't get another opportunity to go walking today. After breakfast, we completed our shopping list for the week. Once all preliminary chores and admin were clear, we headed off to Sainsbury's. There seemed to be an extraordinary number of Zombies there today and they were hampered by a lot of re-organising that was in progress in the store.
Back home, we unpacked and Di went off to the vet to collect some medication for Jasper that had been out-of-stock. Early afternoon we had some Kindle time before collecting Ellie from school. We stopped off at the park to expend some energy before coming home for a snack.
Zoe collected her soon after 16:00.
