We had to get up early for Ellie's drop-off. It was pouring with rain and Ellie arrived in a hooded onesie, boots, and had an umbrella for additional cover. Once breakfast and morning ablutions were complete, Ellie sat down to complete some homework (though it's not due until Thursday). The homework required her to create triples that added up to a starting number. She did a good job, and I photographed all of the pages and submitted them to the SeeSaw system.
The rain had stopped by the time we had to head to school. That wasn't the case for Kim, however. It was her first day at University today and while she had planned to cycle to the station and use the train, she decided that the car was a better idea today.
There were some domestic chores to complete after breakfast, but then I managed to get out for a walk for an hour or so.
After lunch, we had some Kindle time in the Orangery. It was so warm that I had to give up and sit in the lounge.
We collected Ellie from her after-school Drama Class and took her straight home as Zoe would only be a few minutes after us. She is having dinner at home but will be back to sleep here overnight as Zoe has to get to Crawley at 8 a.m. tomorrow, so she'll have a very early start.
