It was a normal start to the day with Ellie being dropped off. She had breakfast and then went to play in her bedroom until it was time for school. The weather forecast had predicted heavy rain, but we were still dry when it was time for the school run.
Ocado was a little late this morning, but once stowed, we headed for Sainsbury's and the weather was still dry. It didn't last. We had quite a long list to attend to, and by the time we left, it was raining. By the time we got home, it was pouring down and continued like that for the rest of the day.
I collected Ellie from school, and she stayed with us until Zoe collected her at 17:40.
It should be a quiet evening, but I am expecting a delivery of EE broadband equipment in the next hour. I won't play with it. It can wait until the morning when their engineer comes to "help" with the installation.
