I was on escort duty this morning. Zoe had a day off so I reported at the door and we marched off school. Ellie has two performances of the play today. She was pumped up and ready.
Back home, Diane and I hopped in the car and headed for Shripney. We started at the M&S Food Hall where we wandered the aisles looking for inspiration for Christmas meals. I think we were both disappointed. All of the traditional fair was there, but there was nothing that made you stop replan Christmas. From M&S we moved on to Aldi. Again, we were a bit underwhelmed. Maybe we are still a week early for the seasonal goodies.
Diane met up with Zoe after lunch and they made their way to the school for the afternoon performance. I stayed behind and waded through the various supermarket websites looking for inspiration. I failed. I have a menu in mind, but something a bit different would have been fun.
I've printed the first pass of the Xmas card list. This is for editing before I start printing the envelope labels. (You would almost think I am organised - you would almost be wrong).
