Brighter

It's a lot brighter again today. The sun is out and it is quite warm. Ellie was dropped off soon after 07:00, as usual. We dropped her off at school and then headed back for breakfast.

The morning saw the usual Sainsbury's shopping trip. We met up with Zoe while we were there. She was in a very good mood as she had just heard about her annual bonus. Back home with all of the shopping, we stashed everything away and then I went through the usual update of the accounts. 

After lunch, we had the usual Kindle time until we had to collect Ellie. The Orangery was so warm that I had to retire to the family room for a cooler seat. Ross, the heating engineer, dropped by to check the voltages of the underfloor heating controls. He will have to replace all of the controls and hopes to be able to finish everything on Saturday.

I collected Ellie after her "Craft Club" and she came home to spend the following 45 minutes eating every snack she could find in the house.
