It was very chilly overnight. This proved to be a problem for Simon the Landscaper. The sand he needed for the last couple of tiles was as solid as a brick. Water used to wash down the tiles turned quickly to ice. This meant that he spent the day working on the electronics. The lights are now all installed and working and the cable to the rill pump was also replaced.
We took Ellie to Dizzy Ducklings and then had a quiet morning.
This afternoon we spoke with J&T regarding the planned cruise. One option to consider is to defer until next year. This appears to be a strong possibility. Instead, we may well book a hotel in Devon or Cornwall and pop down there for a couple of weeks (assuming that is permitted by then).
Pistol Pete has been along to collect Ellie for the weekend.
