It was cold overnight and great swathes of the country were hit with snow. Here, on the coast, all we got was some rain.
Urban-Cub spent the morning studying the contact document for the new house and getting it signed. This will be returned by registered post in the morning. Much of the rest of the day was spent reorganising the Orangery to make it easier for the removal men on Friday.
The Silver Vixen continued with her adjustments for the Roman blind. It was fiddly, but by the end of the afternoon the job was done. The Gorse Fox now has to finish trimming the horizontal rods to size.
The Gorse Fox has spent the day using the free online version of the NINOX database and following some of the YouTube training. In the end he had a workable model of an App that Urban-Cub could use at work. She had a look at the prototype, made a couple of suggestions, but concluded it would be ideal and something she could really make use of. There's still a few outstanding questions and ideas, and also a licensing issue that needs to be answered. If everything comes back to our liking, then the Gorse Fox will buy a license. His assessment, at this point, is that it is actually better than Microsoft Access. It certainly has the little grey cells buzzing.
Pistol Pete brought Ellie back. Apparently she was a bit of handful over the weekend. Let's hope she has got it out of her system! The Gorse Fox suspects that she is just caught up in the excitement of moving to her new house.
