Another late start for the Gorse Fox. Again it was eight o'clock before he shook himself into action (well, he went down and made a coffee). Urban-Cub's shift times had changed, so she was next down, not having to leave until after nine.
Once breakfast was over, the tea/coffee consumed, and everyone was showered and dressed, the Gorse Fox returned to his study to continue yesterday's exercise with "OneNote" and "Notes". The Silver Vixen returned to her sewing project.
The Gorse Fox has now managed to move all relevant items from OneNote to Apple's Notes. He will retain OneNote as an archive on the iMac, but remove it from the iPhone and iPad. It's been an interesting exercise.
At lunchtime the Gorse Fox headed down to West Park and went for a walk. He completed just under 7km at a brisk pace and, despite the 4C temperatures, came back glowing.
Like yesterday, the promenade was very busy with dog-walkers and people out for a stroll. The Gorse Fox just zigged and zagged and kept up his pace, averaging 9'10"/km which was quite reasonable - his fastest kilometre was 8'50". He timed it all rather well. The sun was out and the slight breeze was against him for the first half of the walk - this meant it gave him a push on the return leg. As he approached the last 5 minutes or so, the sun disappeared behind some rather threatening clouds but he reached the care without getting wet. (Well, as it happened, he wouldn't have got wet anyway. The clouds may have looked threatening, but it didn't rain).
