As predicted last week, Simon the Landscaper did have to return today. The main tasks outstanding were the grouting, the base of the storage space, the gravel traps, and the tidying up. He had Tyler with him to help, but it was still a tall order. It was all done except the last gravel traps, by the end of the day. He'll be back tomorrow, but suspect he'll only be here for half an hour. We're very pleased with the way it has come together.
It might have been a bit slow, but the advantage of a contractor with OCD is that you get a fabulous finish. We particularly like the embedded lighting. We're so pleased with his work that we have asked him to quote for some more work.
We've had a couple of trips to LA today - dropping Ellie off, and picking her up from the child minder. She's back at Dizzy Ducklings tomorrow. Urban-Cub was on an early shift (05:30 start) today but that meant she was home just after we got back with Ellie.
The first documents for our re-arranged cruise arrived this morning. Excellent service considering that it was Saturday evening before we made contact.
