That's better. It was 6:30 before Ellie woke, and nearly 7:00 before she ventured in to us. It was a dry, bright, and sunny morning - though quite chilly. Ellie insisted that she wanted to ride her bike to Dizzy Ducklings. The Silver Vixen and Gorse Fox escorted her across the road and the Gorse Fox trotted alongside her for 50m before she got bored and decided to walk. This meant the the Gorse Fox ended up dragging the bike on a strap/lead the rest of the way to and from the school. It's a bit like walking a dog, but without the plastic bags and pooper scooper.
We had the usual Ocado delivery and then the Gorse Fox popped round to Sainsbury's. There wasn't much to get, and the store was very quiet.
The rest of the day has been the usual mix of collecting Ellie, keeping her amused, feeding her, and then preparing our own dinner. (Our usual 6pm dinner time has moved forward 30-60 minutes to accommodate Ellie's evening bath/story/bed schedule - this hasn't been an issue, but if lockdown ever lifts and we ever go out to restaurant again, it may seem strange eating at 7 or 8 o'clock).
Just in case you hadn't noticed, today is the 21st day, in the 21st year, of the 21st Century..!
