Grey

After yesterday's bright sunshine, we were coated in wall-to-wall grey cloud today. It was fairly chilly, but at least it was dry.

Ellie had woken up early and was clearly feeling cantankerous. At least there were three of us available to  try and keep her on an even keel. Urban-Cub and the Gorse Fox took her out for a walk to the local swings and then to feed the ducks. Even the ducks were in a mood. They only came across to see us as we prepared to walk away.

Back home and after lunch, Ellie went down for a sleep. Urban-Cub took the opportunity to pop to the shops and then went back to LA to manage a viewing on their house. On her return, she, the Silver Vixen, and Ellie went off to try and buy some new wellies as Ellie's old sparkly ones were getting a bit tight.

The Gorse Fox returned to his study and the task of writing the short annual summaries for future photo books. Some of it was made easier when he located his old "day books" from when he was working. He has these stretching back into the mid 90's, though was only interested in the 2000-2004 period for this little project. Actually, they only helped by narrowing down when certain projects were running, which helped him pinpoint some of the other events and locations for the years in question.
