There is no news, as yet, regarding our trip to Jamaica. The Gorse Fox suspects that there is sufficient time for things to change several times between now and our departure date. It would, however, be nice to have some certainty.
The Gorse Fox was off to football this morning. He would observe that this may become a rare opportunity as rumours of a lock-down for the over-70s would decimate our squad (even though the Gorse Fox wouldn’t actually be in the demographic). Anyway, todays game was tight and ended up with a 7-6 defeat for the Gorse Fox, though he did manage to get one of the goals and hit the post a couple of times. The football centre was very busy today with about 8 or 9 games being played on the outdoor pitches and the supporting parents milling around watching the action in the bright sunshine and cold wind.
Urban-Cub is back from her early shift, and we are expecting Elli back from Pistol Pete in a couple of hours.
