Lovely sunny day today. Urban-Cub and the Silver Vixen had their Mother’s’ Day cards when they got up and after breakfast the Gorse Fox settled down on the floor with Ellie and her grown-up Lego. While she kept moving all the bricks around, the Gorse Fox constructed a digger for her. This is clearly the start of something fun and during the afternoon, Jake (who had come over to see Urban-Cub) constructed several further models for her.
By lunchtime it was warm enough to sit outside. We unwrapped all the garden furniture after the winter and Urban-Cub and Ellie settled down on a mat to play with some jigsaw puzzles.
The Silver Vixen and Gorse Fox settled down with a rum and coke, and a gin and tonic, and imagined we were in Jamaica as Ellie charged around with one toy or another.
Cousteau-Cub vide-called the Silver Vixen for Mothers' Day. She is socially distancing because of her compromised immune system... but made the most of the good weather to take Tyson (the dog) for a walk with the Coventry Hobbit.
