Well, the airline Flybe has gone out of business overnight. This must be devastating news for its employees and suppliers. It is also bad news for the Gorse Fox and Silver Vixen. We have Flybe tickets booked and paid for our flights to Edinburgh in the summer. The Gorse Fox will need to see what we can do to recoup the money and book alternative tickets.
Late afternoon the Gorse Fox got some good news. Barclaycard texted him to acknowledge the fact that he purchased the airline tickets using their card, and encouraged him to contact them about sorting things out. He was impressed. Now there's plenty of things that could still go wrong between now and us getting a refund, but the Gorse Fox feels a lot better about it now than he did this morning.
