Virtual Separation

It was another lovely day - a little chilly in the shade or the wind, but lovely in the sun.

The first task for the day was to contact Virgin and cancel the Jamaica trip. The Gorse Fox would rather the money sat in his account rather than Virgin's, and it's clear we would not be travelling when planned.

Under the current recommendations you are allowed out for one session of exercise, or to attend the doctor or pharmacy. The Gorse Fox had a prescription to deliver so he made use of this to get exercise and deliver the prescription to the surgery. While he was out he saw a total of 5 dog walkers, 2 people carrying shopping, one jogger, and two couple out walking. People are clearly taking the "stay at home" advice in this area.

This afternoon has been spent nursing our virtual position in the Ocado queue (trusting the other 43369 people in the queue are staying at least 2 virtual metres away from us). It has been a couple of hours so far and at one point our position in the queue seemed to leap back up by 5,000, but we're now down to 17,432 so may finally be able to edit our default order before bedtime.

We heard from Cousteau-cub this morning. Her broadband is back online thank goodness.
