The Gorse Fox had to react to the loss of Flybe. As he explained yesterday, Barclaycard made contact to point him at the correct information. He duly printed off the claim form, filled it in, and printed off all the requisite support information. Envelope duly stuffed and addressed, the Gorse Fox dropped it in the post.
With the claim under way he turned his focus on re-booking the flights. It was an interesting exercise. Trying to book directly with BA or EasyJet resulted in some stupid prices. Booking the same flights through Expedia reduced the price significantly. In fact, it halved the BA price!
This afternoon the Gorse Fox and Silver Vixen made the most of the bright sunshine and went for a walk along the esplanade in Bognor Regis. It really was a lovely stroll, punctuated by a stop at the Lobster Pot for a cup of tea, and a raspberry and coconut slice.
The sun ducked behind a cloud as we set off to return and the temperature change was quite noticeable, but once the cloud cover melted away it was very pleasant again.
