Ellie was dropped off soon after 7:00. The normal protocol was followed, though the Gorse Fox did have to walk round and retrieve "Bunny" which had been forgotten. Soon after he got back, the doorbell rang. It was Darren. Urban-Cub had also forgotten the Father's Day gift for Pistol Pete. Darren dropped it off.
Once Ellie was at school, the Silver Vixen headed off to the hairdresser and the Gorse Fox updated the accounts then returned to the family tree. Today's focus was the Gorse Fox's 4th and 5th great grandparents in Canbridgeshire. There was some supporting information and several other researchers had published their analysis. Several hours later, the Gorse Fox was happy that he had the start of the next research avenue and was convinced that the other researchers were somewhat shoddy in their analysis. In each case, two siblings were identified that the Gorse Fox would not identify as relatives. He suspects that the mistake was made by one researcher (not understanding the geography of Cambridgeshire and Essex) and was then copied by the others.
After school today, the Silver Vixen and Ellie had a look at their Summer Fair. Ellie clearly had great fun and came home with her face painted as a tiger. The Gorse Fox didn't join in. He was at home preparing Ellie's dinner as she had to eat, then pop next door wit Tinkerbell's birthday card, then be ready for Pistol Pete to collect her.
All is now quiet and we are unlikely to see her again until Monday-week.
