Stunning

It has been a stunning day. Temperatures have been in the mid-20s and there has been a slight coastal breeze to keep things very comfortable. The Gorse Fox went round to Urban-Cub to escort them to school but then headed home.

The morning was spent catching use on admin. There were Landscaping bills to pay, accounts to bring up to date, Ocado deliveries to cancel, and the Dash Cam to refit. The Dash Cam was first on the agenda. Fortunately Two Hats was around and had some alcohol spray that could be used to clean the windscreen. The mounting pad was refitted and the rear view camera reconnected. The front mounted camera was prepared but not fitted. It is a little heavy so the Gorse Fox decided to give the adhesive time to cure before putting it under any stress.

The rest of the morning was spent on the other admin. One outstanding item was a voucher the kids had given him for his birthday. Today he he booked the event. This is a helicopter ride from Goodwood, along the coast to Portsmouth and then back in along the line of the Downs. This is now scheduled for 17th August.

The early afternoon was spent enjoying the sunshine in the garden. It was immensely peaceful and a slight breeze ensured that it remained comfortable.

Mid-afternoon we had to collect Ellie as she is staying with us overnight (Urban-Cub being on a late shift). As Pistol Pete is working this weekend, Ellie will be with Urban-Cub, picking her up in the morning.

Had a nice long chat with Two Hats and Tinkerbell before dinner. He has just had a skin cancer removed and this afternoon was back at the medical centre to have his stitches removed. He commented that he was feeling 100% better.
