Beergate

It was a glorious start to the day. The sun was up and there wasn't a cloud to be seen. Urban-Cub dropped Ellie off and we switched into our normal routine. Once she was at school we settled down for coffee and breakfast.

Lady Penelope came over to see the Silver Vixen mid morning. The Gorse Fox left them to it and retired to the study to do some more detective work on the family tree. The particular link that he was researching was triggered by a DNA match. He is not, however, convinced that this DNA has been adequately researched. He doesn't doubt the DNA showing a family connection. He does doubt that the person submitting the details has the correct pedigree. He rechecked all his research and the supporting evidence and is certain it is correct. The other person, however, has not submitted any evidence to support the people in her line.

The Silver Vixen and Gorse Fox went out for lunch. The Gorse Fox had been asked to get some beer as a gift for Gary, who does the refereeing for us on Wednesdays. It is the club's way of saying Thanks, as he won't take any money. We went to The Gribble Inn and the Gorse Fox ordered 10 litres of Fuzzy Duck to be collected tomorrow. Meanwhile, we settled down to tuna melt on ciabatta with a side of fries. Simple, but delicious and certainly all we would need for the rest of the day.

We collected Ellie from school. Once she had got changed, eaten an ice cream cone, two mini scotch eggs,  and a huge slice of chocolate cake, the Silver Vixen took her to the park while the Gorse Fox prepared her dinner. Heavens knows where she puts it all.
