Shorn

It was a gorgeous day. The sun was up and doing its thing, burning off the early morning cloud. The rest of the day it stayed a wall-to-wall blue with temperatures around 24C. Fabulous.

After the usual school drop off for Ellie, the Silver Vixen headed off to Pilates and the Gorse Fox headed off to Worthing for football. Nestling in the back of the car was 10 litres of draught "Fuzzy Duck" for our ref, Gary. It was a hard game today. The heat may have been a contributing factor but it was predominantly the mix of the teams. Final score was 2-1 to the other team, but the Gorse Fox was happy with his performance - it was certainly better than any of the England defenders who played in the defeat against Hungary last night.

This afternoon was pretty quiet. The Gorse Fox wandered into the village to get his hair cut, then fiddled about trying to change the battery in the garage remote. It was fiddly, but eventually worked.
