Ellie woke us at 6:30 but was content to go back to bed with the iPad until it was time to get up.
The forecast for the day in West Sussex specified a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms and possible local flooding. Not in our neck of the woods it wasn't. We had a shower as we took Ellie to school and then it dried up and improved bit by bit throughout the day. As the Gorse Fox writes, the sun is beating down and we have a glorious evening.
There was no Ocado this week. We didn't have much to get and it was easier to pick it up at Sainsbury's. We were soon sorted out.
This afternoon has been quiet, dedicated to last minute details for our forthcoming trip. What time should we leave? What time can we check-in? Where is the parking? All of this has been sorted and checklists have been made. we just need to wait for the starter flag.
By the way - the Gorse Fox was very impressed to find that he could use "copy & paste" to copy text from his iPhone and paste it directly onto his iMac. He had seen the announcement of the function, but this was the first time he had tried it. It was seamless. Very Impressive.
