Parking

It was a lovely morning and though overcast a bit later, it has remained warm and dry throughout the day. Ellie charged into our room just before 7:00 this morning. She had slept well and was full of the joys of Spring. We went through the usual rituals and Urban-Cub turned up in time to walk with us to school. (She was on a late shift last night, but day off today).

Back home, with no plans for football, the Gorse Fox started with a phone call to Darren's friend who has a body shop. The Gorse Fox had sent him a photo of the damage and he said he could help but it was likely to be 10 days before he could give a quote. S~o that the Gorse Fox had something to measure against he went along to a body shop nearby. The chap had a good look at the damage and explained what would be needed. The answer seems to be about £1250. The Gorse Fox still has the option of involving the insurance company but want to know the alternatives.

Back home and smarting from the £1250 cost of parking badly, the Gorse Fox opened up the accounts to check off all of the expenses from last week. It was strange, the Gorse Fox didn't spend any cash whatsoever. Everything was paid for on the phone - and consequently he had a record of every transaction. That made life easier.
