It was a grey start to the day, but it was warm and dry. The Gorse Fox had football scheduled. At least it was. Then it wasn't. The it was, again.
The Gorse Fox had sorted out the teams for the final incarnation of players. The game kicked-off and the Gorse Fox was worried he hadn't quite got the balance right. He was wrong. He couldn't have chosen two closer balanced teams. The Gorse Fox, himself, managed to score the opening goal for his team. By half time. it was an even 5 all. Unfortunately, the second half was a lot tighter and the final score was 7-6 against the Gorse Fox.
The Silver Vixen has spent the afternoon sorting out fat quarters in her sewing room while the Gorse Fox sat in the Orangery reading. Another book has been finished - that makes 18 books in the last 3 weeks. The Gorse Fox is embraced today that he does everything in bursts of activity, whether it be reading, sketching, family tree research... or whatever. Once his mind slips into the latest point of focus - that's it until he switches to the next.
