It must be an age thing. The Gorse Fox was as right as rain when he got up and made the morning tea and coffee. He was all right when he got washed and dressed. Then he managed to tweak his back while trying to put on his trousers. He was locked for a few seconds but then managed to straighten up. As long as he has been up and about on his feet, he has remained fairly comfortable but every time he has spent any time sitting, it has stiffened up again. Pah!
After walking Ellie to school he came home to get some porridge and another coffee. The Silver Vixen was out for an hour or so so the Gorse Fox busied himself trying to reconfigure the WiFi mesh. This has been a bit flakey since we upgraded the broadband and the Gorse Fox moved the master device for the mesh. It took a couple of hours to come up with the right solution but using hardwired connections we shouldn't see the problems that we had before.
After lunch, the Gorse Fox popped round to Sainsbury's for some of the items that we need to see us through until we shop properly... mainly milk, bread, and post-school snacks for Ellie.
Ellie is staying with us overnight.
It looks as if the cat-whisperer may have some availability in August. We will scramble around and see if there is a possibility of another short holiday.
