Kinda Blue

There are some days that are so perfect that they need to be framed. So it was today. The sun has shone from sunrise to early evening and looks as if it will continue, unabated, until sunset. The odd, whispy cloud bubbled up occasionally but then burned away..

For the Gorse Fox the day began with his traditional call with the cousins. Tim the Red having selective memory over the lies and spin of the Blair years was bemoaning the untruths that have emerged regarding the Johnson administration. It is always interesting to hear their side of the story and the belief in tory corruption when there are (as the Gorse Fox writes) 46 labour MPs and councillors convicted of, or being investigated of corruption and fraud. But hey ho!

The rest of the morning was spent reprocessing the photos from the holiday to ensure the GPS coordinates were applied. This took a while, but once done, the Gorse Fox filed them in his master photo library.

By lunchtime it was time to raise the parasol in the garden and get the cushions for the garden furniture. The Gorse Fox's current book was calling... and that was it. The afternoon was gone in a flash as page after page flashed through the Kindle. It has been a while sine the Gorse Fox has become really engrossed in a book. In the last couple of weeks, however, he has read two book by Richard Osman and is now two thirds of the way through book one of a series by Jodi Taylor. So far there are 13 books in the series. He likes the quirky narrative and inventive premise upon which they are based.

Football tomorrow.
