It has been another very successful day for the Gorse Fox. He escaped to the study to look at the current method he employs for getting tags/labels from blogposts to the private blog on "peregrine". This was always clunky and somewhat of a bodge. The new code he prepared a few weeks ago which manages the transfer of blog-posts themselves, also carries the tags as part of the payload (the original Google-API based system did not). With some judicious changes to his existing code he was able to fork relevant tags/labels into a small holding file. This holding file is then processed by the original tag-merge program he had written several years back. Et Voila! It all works.
The Gorse Fox thinks that, bar some daily monitoring, all of the work is now finished on the Raspberry Pis. Next little project will probably be some more video editing.
The Silver Vixen is enjoying time on her sewing machine. She's now making some masks for herself (having made them for the rest of the family). In fact, as Urban-Cub has gone to meet Cousteau-Cub (in the open, of course) she has taken Cousteau-Cub's mask(s) along with her.
