With a level of incompetence that only BT seem to be able to manage, Cousteau-cub has had to decamp and come here to work in the Gorse Fox's study. It seems that asking them to set up a line transfer for a house move is still the most intractable problem in the Universe.
"Please arrange the new service to begin on 3rd June."
"Ok. That'll be the 29th June" came the response a few days later.
"No, 3rd June, please"
"Ok. That'll be 10th June" came the reply.
"Oh, and by the way, our internet keeps dropping"
"Sorry, we can't look at that. Your account is locked for 24 hours while we process the house move for a day you didn't want".
In the end, she phoned the Gorse Fox in despair. The only sensible solution was for her to work here in the study - socially distanced from the rest of us.
