It’s a Bank Holiday. The Gorse Fox mentions this in case it has slipped your notice. After all, with all but essential workers essentially in temporary retirement, for most it is just another day.
The Gorse Fox spent some time this morning looking at a plugin extension for an IDE (Integrated Development Environment). This particular plugin understands the syntax and format of Rexx and provides nice highlighting of the code and quickly shows any errors in your code. Very impressive.
The Gorse Fox has also found a bit of code called MetaDoctor which allows him to add metadata to the family videos. This includes chapter, people who are featured, and so forth. This is really good and greatly enhances the function that is available through the Plex server. It now means that we can watch a family video and skip straight to a given part of the film, as identified by the chapters.
After lunch we all headed for the garden to enjoy a quiet time in the sun. Again, Cousteau-Cub came round to use the garden. Not quite the spirit of lockdown, but if she wears a Dominic Cummings mask nobody will worry. To be fair, she does maintain her distance and as both she and the Silver Vixen are fairly vulnerable we do have to be sensible about things.
In a parallel universe, tonight would be our last full night in Jamaica before checking out and flying home tomorrow. At least, in real life, the weather has been excellent back here at home.
