Well, in a somewhat bitty day, the Gorse Fox can conclude that he is chuffed again. This time the clean rebuild went smoothly. This gives him confidence that when it comes time to upgrade "peregrine" he can do it with a degree of confidence and a set of instructions that work!
In other matters, Urban-cub went into work. Though furloughed, Gatwick have realised that they allowed the only person who understood their stores department to leave. As Urban-cub has some experience from a previous job, they asked if she could come in and provide some guidance and consultancy to regain control of the department. She leapt at the chance to get a mental challenge, so headed up to the Airport for a long 12-hour shift.
G-Force were back in charge of Ellie.
She was very good and actually asked for some "quiet time" after lunch (which suit us just fine). After that, she got all dressed up in her "Dora the Explorer" mode to take a walk with us around the lake. This, as usual, featured hurling food at the ducks and watching as they scrabbled over it. Once our stack of duck food was exhausted, she led as we walked all the way around, then up by "her" school (as she insists on calling it) and back round to our house.
