The Gorse Fox has had a domestic day. It started with half an hour of quality time with the Ocado online shopping list and then the overflow list for Sainsbury's. While this was underway, Cousteau-cub turned up with Tyson (he dog). Urban-cub and Ellie then took Tyson out for a walk, then took him back to Cousteau-cub's house. Meanwhile, she made the most of our technology up in the study.
The Silver Vixen used the Karcher window washer on the Orangery windows (latterly with some "assistance" from Ellie), while the Gorse Fox got stuck-in to an oven-cleaning exercise. Fortunately, one of the ovens can do a self-clean or a short steam-clean. The Gorse Fox made the most of the steam clean, which seemed to do a pretty good job. The other oven was still quite warm so that cleaned up fairly well with just soap and water. As usual, it was the racks that held out the most resistance, but they were no match for the Gorse Fox's persistence.
Urban-cub is suffering from heat-rash, and it's making her feel pretty rough as it feels like millions of under-skin pin-pricks. She is sheltering in the cool of the lounge and raising Amazon for possible creams, sprays, and other cures.
