It was a stunning day. There was wall-to-wall sunshine throughout the day and the temperatures were in the high 20s. This encouraged the Silver Vixen to venture out and plant some of the flowers she had purchased a week or so back.
The Gorse Fox had woken up with an idea to further enhance his little backup system. First, he had to check that it had worked overnight - and it had. With a little tweaking, however, he should be able to dig out some deeper diagnostics about each run. Like most JAFLOCs(*) it took a bit longer than planned, but in the end, it was working perfectly. Again, the Gorse Fox will have to check it in the morning, but he has every confidence that it will be okay.
After lunch, we both stopped to watch the football. It was a win (1-0), which was good, but the Gorse Fox didn't really feel that it was a convincing display. The England team was competent, but not convincing. Let's hope that, as the tournament progresses, they settle into the competition.
Urban-cub brought Ellie round at tea time. Ellie will stay with us overnight, as Urban-cub has an early start in the morning.
