It has been a bit grey, but at least it stayed dry. It has also been immensely quiet. The Gorse Fox started his day with the cousins' Zoom call, but as it started to ramble on a bit, he dropped off the call after an hour.
Much of the rest of his day has been spent working on genealogy. He has had another contact from a DNA match and has been trying to trace a link between the families. There are so many coincidences in our families during the 1800s in Glasgow, but despite every effort, he has yet to find a solid family connection. (When he says coincidences... they lived a few doors away from each other, they both had fathers called James, they were both tailors, they were born within about 5 years of each other, they both had links to the Gallogley family - it is almost too much of a coincidence; but at this point, that's all it is).
Meanwhile, the Silver Vixen has been dead-heading the roses, and Two Hats, next door, spotted a tiny indentation on the bonnet of our car (probably a stone chipping) and promptly fixed it.
