Countdown

 Ellie wandered into our room at about 6:40 and asked for the iPad. She settled down between us and watched YouTube Kids until it was time to get up. We got here ready and offered her breakfast - which she declined (as is now quite usual). Urband-cub arrived to take her to school and the Gorse Fox went along for the walk.

Today was a bit of a change from the usual. We had decided that, with an impending trip away, we didn't need to trouble Ocado. We crafted a much cut-down list and popped round to Sainsbury's.

Back home, the Silver Vixen retired to her sewing room to finish off the buttons on her latest project. The Gorse Fox got on with some admin and then put his feet up until it was time to collect Ellie.

The bright sunny morning had become slightly overcast. It was still warm, but it was clear the weather was changing. Despite this, we were able to stroll round to Dizzy Ducklings then take Ellie to the small play-park for a good 45 minutes. Hopefully, it will have worn her out and she will sleep well tonight.
