Lost and found

The Silver Vixen had a day out on Thursday. When she returned, she realised she had lost her sunglasses. She retraced her steps, where possible, and then concluded they must have gone missing on the bus. On Friday, she phoned the bus station. Sure enough, they had been handed in - but were at Portsmouth (where her bus was destined). They said they would send them back to Chichester during the day. This morning, she hopped on the bus and popped in to Chichester. The glasses were there and she hopped straight onto the return bus. The whole trip couldn't have taken more than 30 minutes and the Gorse Fox has a very happy Silver Vixen.

The Gorse Fox had his usual call with the cousins and has spent much of the rest of the day working on the Silver Vixen's branches of the family tree. There have been no major breakthroughs. In fact, it has really been a day of tidying up. Better luck next time!

This evening we are going out with Old Bill and Lady Penelope. Two Hats and Tinkerbell were also meant to be with us, but Tinkerbell has hurt her back and isn't mobile at present. Anyway, the excuse for the excursion is their Wedding Anniversary, so we are honoured to be invited. Plan is to take the bus into Chichester, eat, then get either the bus or taxi home.
