At 03:32 this morning there was a patter of tiny feet into our bedroom. Ellie stood by the Gorse Fox and announced "Grandpa, I am really quite bored waiting for my light to turn yellow".
Stifling a smile the Gorse Fox tried to convince her that it was much too early, and that she should return to bed and go back to sleep. The Gorse Fox was not convincing enough. The Silver Vixen intervened. Ellie went back to bed, cried for a few minutes, and then went back to sleep.
At 6:30 her highlight turned yellow. There was spatter of tiny feet. "Grandpa, my light is yellow. Can I watch your iPad?". She hopped into bed with us and settled down with the tablet for half an hour.
