The Gorse Fox had football this morning and the Silver Vixen had her Covid-19 booster jab scheduled. (The Gorse Fox's second jab was a few weeks later than that of the Silver Vixen, so he is expecting to wait a couple more weeks before he is called.)
The Gorse Fox's football team selection algorithm was fairly accurate today. The teams were very close, and in the end there was only one or two goals in it. The computer had decided that the Gorse Fox should be on the winning side this week. It was great fun and we "blooded" a new player.
Once home, there was a bit of shopping to do. We had run out of strawberries for Ellie's school lunch. (The champagnes and oysters were fine, but we needed new strawberries). As he went off to the shop, Tinkerbell appeared with an armful of DVDs. They were all kids' shows and were appropriate for Ellie. We no longer have a DVD connected to the TV, so the Gorse Fox would have to rip them down onto his Plex library. This needed to be considered as he hadn't tried this on the new Condor. As it happened it went without a hitch. The first three DVDs are now nestling in the family media library. There are several further DVDs to rip, but he can do those during the week.
Pistol Pete dropped Ellie back with us late in the afternoon. She will be staying with us overnight as Urban-Cub has to do her quarterly inventory, starting soon after 4 a.m. tomorrow morning. The Gorse Fox has an early start as he has to get up to Brentwood, in bandit country, for a funeral mid-morning.
