Gosh, it was dark this morning when we got up. Ellie was convinced we had got up too early, so we had to explain about the fact that in Autumn it gets dark earlier in the evening and stays dark longer in the morning but in a couple of weeks the clocks would be changed so that it's lighter when we get up.
The Gorse Fox headed off to football once Ellie was delivered to school. At first it looked as if we wouldn't have sufficient players for a 4-way tournament, but some stragglers turned up in time to make up the numbers. The Gorse Fox's team did well. We won the first game 2-1, drew the second game 0-0, and won the final game 4-0. Very satisfying, and some lovely passing going on across the team. It was a good run around.
Back home, the Silver Vixen was trying to get on with some sewing. The Gorse Fox settled down to do the online shop, then caught up on a couple of weeks of admin.
Ellie's back at home now for a run of nights.
