It was a lovely gentle start to the morning. The sun was bright and there was still some warmth despite being mid Autumn.
The Gorse Fox set off for his Sunday football. He had allowed plenty of time in the expectation that parking would be a nightmare. No. Nothing. There was hardly a car in the car park and the Gorse Fox was able to park wherever he wanted.
He was expecting to get pounded today. In order to accommodate a request from one of the two best players, he put them both on the same team. The opposite team to the Gorse Fox. Despite his worst fears, he managed to mark one of them out of the game, and his team managed a good passing game. At the end of the first half his team were 5-4 ahead (including a goal from the Gorse Fox). The second half was harder, but we stayed in touch. They scored a few goals and we got a couple. The final score ended up as 7-6 to the other team. It wasn't quite the pounding we had expected.
Back home the Silver Vixen and Gorse Fox finally got round to finding a nest for our crane.Huge galvanised stakes are holding it down, and hopefully the wind will not dislodge the wings.
The rest of the afternoon was spent ripping the final DVDs onto the Plex server. As we have no DVD player (except on the computer) this is the only way in which we can watch the films in question.
The Gorse Fox does have a problem with Plex. It works fine on the TV in the lounge. It works fine on the iPhone. It works fine on Urban-Cub's TV at home. It won't, however, work on our TV in the kitchen, nor on the Gorse Fox's iPad. This is driving him to distraction as it used to work on every device he tried.
