The Gorse Fox was up and about before Ellie stirred this morning. She was chirpy little soul and, having had breakfast, was getting washed and dressed when Urban-Cub arrived to walk with us to school. Urban-Cub has a day off today, before a long run of 8 days or so.
Once back home, the Silver Vixen was heading off for her Pilates and, once she had gone, the Gorse Fox headed out for football. The sides seemed well balanced today, so it was destined to be a good game. Unlike yesterday, the Gorse Fox was defending with an ex-professional. We worked really well together, covering each other when necessary and driving forward when the chances opened up. This is the sort of game that is really fun, particularly when we had to work really hard. (In fact, the Gorse Fox managed to get his heart rat up to 171 bpm... this is about 20 beats higher than usual). We lost, in the end, but only by the odd goal. It was a very enjoyable session.
Back home, the Silver Vixen has been to a cake sale at Ellie's school. The Gorse Fox has been fiddling around on the computer and getting his taxi booked for Friday in St Albans.
Nothing else scheduled for today, so we should have a quiet evening.
