It was very cold overnight but we didn't see any of the snow that had been prevalent in other parts of the country. It was a fairly relaxed morning, though we did wade into the mountain of cardboard boxes that had accumulated over the holiday period. In the end the were all squirrelled away in the boot of our car and taken to the local tip. The Gorse Fox was expecting a long queue, but was pleased to find that he could drive straight in, dispose of the rubbish, and leave without any delays at all.
The Gorse Fox had a new toy on order from Amazon. It is a laser measuring device. Since it arrived this afternoon the Gorse Fox has measured everything that's stationary in the house. Nice little bit of kit! The Gorse Fox mentioned it came from Amazon. The Silver Vixen also had a delivery, as did Urban-Cub. The Gorse Fox isn't sure but he suspects we had an Amazon truck all to ourselves. When we opened the front door we could hardly see over the pile of boxes that had been left on the doorstep.
