Whoa there, take it easy

 Urban-cub was up and out for an early shift. Ellie is still at Pistol Pete's so the Silver Vixen and Gorse Fox had a very quiet day. 

There was nothing much to report.

The Silver Vixen spent much of the day wrapping Xmas presents (and trying to find those presents that had been squirrelled away in various hiding places). The Gorse Fox started to construct a 3D model of Urban-cub's new house (but realised he hadn't got sufficient information to get very far). 

Last week, Urban-cub brought home a big leg of lamb. It was time to retrieve it from the fridge and do it some justice. A marinade was prepared and slathered all over the joint. It was then left to rest for a couple of hours. Then it was covered in foil and slow-roasted at 160c for 5 hours. Finally, it rested for an hour before carving. It was excellent.
