It's been a quiet Boxing Day - well as quiet as any day with a 3 year old can be.
Storm Bella is due to hit the South Coast today. There are weather warnings across the region. The Gorse Fox decided to go out for a brief walk before the weather set in. He really wasn't in the mood for a walk, but it really was important that he stirred himself into action.
Storm Bella was due to hit this afternoon, but at the time of writing, has been a complete non-event.We can only assume it has been delayed and will hit later.
The Gorse Fox has spent much of the day working on a 3D model of Urban-Cub's new house. We have managed to get some further measurements which have allowed further progress, but it is a long way from what the Gorse Fox would consider to be an accurate model.
Urban-Cub brought home a huge chunk of beef a week or so back. We had scheduled it for today's dinner. In practice, the first thing he had to do was to divide it into 3 separate joints - two of which went into the freezer, but one was slow roasted all afternoon. The joint was a bit gristly but, avoiding the gristle, it was delicious. As today's bit was the end of the the joint, the Gorse Fox has every expectation that the remaining cuts will be excellent.
