Splash

The day started with the sky painted blue from corner to corner. The temperature was soon rising and we got the windows and doors open and the shades closed. There were a few domestic chores in plan for the morning, but nothing too strenuous.

The nice man from Amazon turned up with the new ethernet cable that the Gorse Fox required. This has enabled him to complete the recabling in his study and everything is now back up and running. It is also looking remarkably tidy (for him).

As the afternoon wore on the skies darkened and there was some significant thunder. We brought the washing in from the line and as we closed the doors the heavens opened. The rain didn't last for long - maybe 10 minutes of heavy downpour, then some respite before a further pulse of really heavy (and deafening) rain. Looking at the radar map, the Gorse Fox suspects we will get a few more downpours in the next hour or so, but should be ok after that.
