Progress

After a few iffy days, the sun was back out today. Only managed the low 20s, but it's better than rain and storms.

The Gorse Fox had football this morning. He thought about it long and hard. Should he play or should he stay at home and work on the window seat for Urban-Cub. Football won. We had a good turn-out and the Gorse Fox played for the blue-bibs. Our team was adequate but wasn't likely to win the day. So it proved to be. With a draw in the first game 0-0, a loss 4-1 in the second game, and a draw 2-2 in the last game.  At least the Gorse Fox scored his goal for the week and nearly managed a second.

The second hour had insufficient players to form two teams so we packed our things and went home.

The Gorse Fox spent the afternoon in the garage working on the window seat. The main framework is now complete and the sides have been fitted. Next on the agenda will be the creation of the face frame, but that can wait until tomorrow.
