We woke to the sound of the rain. It was nearly eight and Ellie was just stirring. Looking out the window it was clear that it had been raining fairly heavily for quite a while. Blustery winds were driving the rain this way and that. The skies were leaden and we had to switch on lights in the house to prepare breakfast.
Clearly not a day for shorts and a t-shirt and a stroll along the Bognor promenade.
