Rain

There are holes in the sky where the rain gets in;
The holes are very small, that's why the rain is thin.
(Spike Milligan).

Well the holes seemed to get a bit bigger overnight. The rain hit at about five o'clock this morning and was very heavy for a while. It was accompanied by some squally winds which got the blinds swinging and tapping against a vase on the windowsill. The Gorse Fox had to get up to investigate and it took a few minutes to find the culprit window. Window closed, the Gorse Fox returned to bed... but that was it really.

Family 'do' today up in Buckingham, so let's hope the rain clears and the journey isn't too bad. Urban-Cub is going up early with Ellie, but she will be leaving early. We will bring Ellie back with us as Urban-Cub is on an early shift in the morning.
