Sawdust flies

Well the nice chap from Travis Perkins arrived soon after lunch - just after the Gorse Fox had settled down to do some work in the study. The wood was unloaded and the study forgotten. There was sawdust to create.

So the Gorse Fox has made good progress in the last few hours. The plinth is made and is acting as a workbench as the front and back parts of the frame are made and assembled. There are still some cross members to cut and fit but that can wait until tomorrow. The pocket-hole jig and the associated screws have proved to be an absolute godsend. They made construction so much quicker.

Very satisfying afternoon.
